Our new staff members
Mike Langer
Petroleum Department Manager
(608)831-5921 extension 112
Cell: (608) 444-1924 MFCENERGY@TDS.net
I would like
to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is
Mike Langer and I am replacing Ladd Pettit who has accepted
the General Management position at Blanchardville
Cooperative. We congratulate Ladd and wish him the best in
his new opportunity along with thanking him for his
excellent service to the Middleton Cooperative and patrons
over the past ten years.
My wife and I
are in the process of relocating from Cameron (approx. 50
miles north of Eau Claire) to the Middleton area. We hope to
have this process completed and be settled in as soon as
possible. My wife, our two children and myself spent from
1989 to 2002 living in Reedsburg so we are somewhat familiar
with this part of the State and like this area of Wisconsin.
I have 27
years of Cenex Cooperative experience in various capacities,
all across the state of Wisconsin (go Packers) with over 17
years in petroleum department management. My number one
priority is to provide the same level of excellent service
that Ladd has provided to the patrons of Middleton
Cooperative. I hope to meet many of you over the next few
months, so if you are near the office please stop in and
introduce yourself. In the beginning I ask for your patience
if you call in and I do not know who you are and may ask a
few more questions than Ladd normally would.
As always,
thank you for your business and support of the Middleton
Cooperative. Your business is never taken for granted and
always appreciated. Remember, this is the business that you
own.
Mike

Matt Juntunen
Agronomist
(608) 831-7030 extension 107
I would like to take this opportunity
to tell you about some changes in the agronomy department.
After 18 years of service with the Middleton Co-op, Ike
Eisner is going to retire at the end of January. We wish Ike
good luck in his retirement and with his golf game. We are
also hoping he can come back for a few weeks during spring
season to answer phones and ease the transition with new
personnel.
Matt Juntunen. Matt grew up in Barron,
WI. He graduated from UW-Platteville in December with a
degree in crops and soils. With the addition of Matt, we now
employ four graduates from UW-Platteville. The other three
have been good employees and we expect the same with Matt.
Matt’s main responsibilities will be agriculture-sales, crop
scouting, soil sampling, and whatever other challenges come
our way. Matt will be attending the cooperative annual
meeting on Tuesday February 5th , 2008. I am
hoping to see a lot of our patrons there where we can make
introductions and not have to worry about hypothermia
setting in.
I am confident that with these changes,
we will maintain a high level of service to our patrons.
Your business here is very much appreciated. I am looking
forward to this spring and the optimism that comes with it.
