do I apply the next step of the 4 step program?
Step#1 Crabgrass
Preventer Late March thru April
Step#2 Weed and Feed Mid May thru Mid June
Step#3 Turf Food Early July thru Mid August
Step#4 Fall Winterizer Mid September until Ground Freezed
What
conditions do I apply the 4 step program in?
Step#1 Crabgrass
Preventer Apply after leaves have been raked and lawn has been
dethatched (if applicable). Grass should be dry and rain or
watering is ideal after application.
Step#2 Weed
and Feed Grass should be wet when applied and no rain for 48
hours after application.
Step#3 Turf
Food Grass should be dry and rain or watering is ideal after
application. DONOT apply in temperatures exceeding 85° F.
Step#4 Fall
Winterizer Apply after aerating(if applicable), when grass is
dry. Rain or watering will activate fertilizer quicker.
